ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Petra Cox.
Passion drives everything I do, and sculpting is my way of sharing the deepest parts of myself with the world. My sculptures are not just objects; they are reflections of my emotions, thoughts, and experiences. Each piece represents a significant moment in my life, and through my art, I hope to connect with you on a personal level.

Before becoming a sculptor, I worked as a veterinarian, where I learned to “see with my hands and listen with my eyes.” This way of sensing the world profoundly influences my art. I love working with recycled materials, giving forgotten or discarded objects a new purpose. Finding beauty in the unexpected and transforming waste into something meaningful feels natural to me. Each sculpture becomes its own story, a blend of my experiences and your interpretation.

Through my Reflections series, I invite you to step into my world. I want my work to challenge you, surprise you, and most of all, inspire you to believe that anything is possible. Creativity has no limits, and neither should you. If there’s something you want to do, just go for it—make it happen!
